Staying at C-Suite-it’s high-pressure with long hours, extensive responsibilities and intensive control. But what is it for being a major chapter if you don’t spin?

Fortune A series, a good life, shows how new leaders spend their time and money outside of work.

Today we meet with co -founder and CEO FaircadoEvolena de Wilde.

A 31-year-old entrepreneur based on Berlin started working in the world with a high-energy startup, working in developed technology companies for five years before starting his own enterprise. She conducted professional revenues at the airline’s passenger compensation campaign Airhelpand a skincare brand focused on society Hellobody.

In 2022, she launched AI, who works in the reduced buying Faircado with her girlfriend Ali Non -Malmalek. Extended Tech Scaning product images to connect users with the best purchase options, combining information from different online market. It was voted Product Day on Black Friday in 2023, and in 2024 Company closed A EUR 3 million Funding round under the leadership of the World Fund, leading the Climate of Europe.

Faircado has since become one of the largest trading instruments in Europe through its partnerships with Fuck. Vestiaire Collective. Sell. The back of the marketAnd much more. The AI function now brings together more than 100 million electronics offers, books, fashion and more. De Wildo’s Sustainability Value also enters into practice in Faircado-it says users have saved millions of dollars and tones of CO2, buying used goods through digital supplement. Most recently, Faircado has expanded to the UK with the launch of the browser plugin.

De Wilde was able to connect her passion to sustainability with her professional background on the starting stage of Berlin. And she practices what she preaches in her life – from where she buys coffee and décor indoors, before she celebrates her career “wins”.

“I always tried to provide anywhere I lived steadily,” she says Happiness. “In fact, this is why I started Faircado.”

Finance

Fortune: What was the best investment that you bought?

The apartment in Brussels, where I came from. I bought it 2 years ago and it was a profitable investment since the first day, as the rent covers more than my mortgage. I have done some repairs to make it more energy efficient, so the price has already increased and it will probably rise because it is well placed. It was quite a lot of work, but I really like to build things made to continue.

And the worst thing?

So far, nothing. I was lucky.

What are your residential agreements: a wide apartment in the city or suburban growth?

I live in Berlin Berga Berg. This is considered calm, intricate, family neighborhood, with many small cafes and yoga studios. My apartment is filled with art and Scandinavian ancient furniture. I always tried to provide anywhere I lived steadily. In fact, this is why I started Faircado.

Back in 2021, when I moved to this uncomplicated apartment during a pandemic, I couldn’t just go to the store and buy furniture in the elderly. So I started doing it online and realized how clumsy and time consuming was the experience. The same for clothing, books and electronics.

How do you go to work?

On the bike! I bike at least an hour a day. It keeps me in shape and refreshes my mind. I don’t have a car (and hope I never need).

Do you wear a wallet?

I rarely have money. My favorite bank is tomorrow, a steady bank that invests my money in social and environmental projects. In addition, their cards are really beautiful.

Do you put in the stock?

I played a little with the Trade Republic. For example, I put in renewable energy that work very well. Also, FuckBecause I really believe in the lord HoldBecause this is one of those products that just make life enjoyable.

I am not going to give anyone advice on this topic, but I would say it is a good tool for promoting the business you understand and believe that belong to the future of our economy.

What personal financing advice would you give your 20-year well-being?

  • Take 20% to 50% of your salary. Put it directly to a savings account on the day when you are paid. Make sure your expenses do not increase at the same rate as your profit.
  • Buy less, but better and in the other hand. Focus on the quality things that will really bring you a long joy and usefulness.
  • Never save on experience and study. Things that make you grow are always a good investment (including therapy and travel to the mountains).
  • Be generous with people and associations you love.
  • Buy a house or apartment as soon as you can. You can then either live in it (and put your rent in what will be your 20 years old) or rent it and allow the mortgage to pay yourself. This is a great investment (except if you are really unlucky or live in an unstable country), and if the Sh-T gets into a fan, you will always have a place for life.

Where is your wristwatch?

I still still have the burden I bought 15 years ago with a salary from my first student work. I heard it did not match my ancient Chanel Kings, but I don’t care.

Necessity

How do you get a daily coffee fix?

No capsules. I totally boycott nespresso and Starbucks. But I am a fan of all ethical coffee brands. Those who actually pay farmers for coffee beans. I get my coffee circle, in Berlin. My home is a very simple Bialetti Moka machine, and the office in the office has a correct Delonghi Dedica Arte Espresso (of course) with milk for our daily doses of oat cappuccino. Very Berlin startup -stroy.

“Never save on experience and study. Things that make you grow are always good investments.”

What about food on the go?

I go out every day, usually with some team members or investors. Berlin offers amazing lunch options for 5 to 12 euros, and when I hate cooking, I don’t see the reasons. Usually I go to salad, Falafel, Italian pizza or sushi. I don’t need a bizarre food, just quality ingredients and good vegetarian options to be happy.

Where do you buy products?

On the local market of organic farmers, on Saturday morning.

How often in a week do you lunch against the chef at home?

It used to be 4-5 days of food for dinner but now we have Hellofresh which provides great healthy recipes at home. So we prepare more.

Where do you make purchases for your work wardrobe?

I buy most of my wardrobe in the elderly and only the materials I need, so I buy on the resale platforms (mostly Faircado) and find unique works in this way. I put on the lifelong whole, Maje, comme des Garçons, Chloé, Sézane, Samsøe Samsøe, acne studios, etc., which is the most important fabric: I almost burdened wool and cotton.

If I buy new things (rarely), it would support small design labels of fair fashion, perfectly made in Europe.

What would be a typical outfit for you?

Blue blue T -shirt, wide jeans, Chloé/Birkenstock Boston boots.

Are you a proud owner of what kind of futuristic gadgets?

No. I believe that most gadgets are useless. The only futuristic thing I bought is my Nuroad Gravel Bike, in Smokylilac’n’Black. But I would say it’s more a work of art. A very beautiful and useful work of art.

Treats

How do you promote the main job?

My weekly therapy, magazine, good run, yoga classes, drawing class, dinner with my partner and/or with friends.

“I believe that most gadgets are useless.”

How do you feel about yourself when you get the stock?

I try not to buy things for this. If I have something to note, I do things that bring me joy: go dance with friends, eat in a good restaurant, go to a concert or to the festival.

How many days of annual vacation do you take the year?

I don’t know. I never turn off and travel pretty much for work, so it’s hard to say.

I spent one month in Rwanda (traveling through national parks and worked from the strange house of Norskene Kigali) to avoid Berlin’s grayness this winter. I was impressed by the fact that people here seem much happier than home. A great reminder that we really need: water, food, roof, strong communities, a lot of dance, singing and laughter and a beautifully preserved environment. It seems like this is the best recipe for happiness.

Here in a good life you do not need to imagine what life looks at the top: get inspiration in real life as the most successful living life.
