Not lost on the Wigan Warriors how much could be the moment for a super league when March 1 Sky Sports.
Two local rivals will fight with the Allegiant Stadium while the rugby league leaves and tries to capture a new audience.
There will also be two competitive points, with the Super League calendar calendar, but Wigan’s main coach Matt Peet knows that there is more in the game than only those points on offer.
Indeed, while leading the battle, Wigan and Warrington will “collaborate” throughout the upgrade to ensure that Best of Super League is at the exhibition.
“I’m very excited. It’s a great opportunity and a merit for the vision of Wigan and Warrington for putting on this event,” Peet said.
“We have now received a responsibility that we not only give a good game, but showing a super league through the media, taking every opportunity and attacking both hands.
“It is important that even though we go as a warrington rival and compete with them, we work and we understand that we represent the British game.
“This is a significant event. We were a part of some of them in our history before and you get a lot of great memories when you win and do well, not so much when you don’t perform as we did in Barcelona a few years ago.
“The guys got the opportunity to make a few great memories and should take them.”
The size of the spectacle was not lost on the players either, and the 20-year-old Junior Nsemba was excited to enjoy the son of City even though he was under the age limit for most attractions on the strap.
Instead, he will be there to help the growth of the sport and dealt with somewhere that he once held Super Bowl.
“It will be amazing. I’ve heard it before, but this will be one of the biggest games in the Super League,” Nsemba said.
“To be a part of it, Wigan and Warrington go against each other, obviously we will entertain people, but at the same time we go to do our job there.
“Going to a very good place, Las Vegas, the sin of the city. There will be a nice place to see in Vegas. Out of Ragbi, it will be nice to get a stalemate and take a walk. Within Rugby, we are here to do our job.
“It is unbelievable how Super League, Sky and everyone managed to take us as players. Only the cultivation of sports and the release of people who know what a rugby league is.
“Yes, I’m not guessing the age limit. I’m pretty limited with a few things I could do. I’m not saying that in Vegas I’ll just drink or anything else.
“No matter what, we are still going to Vegas. We are still playing the game. Although I am limited to fruit shooting and anything else.
“There will be crazy playing at a very big stadium in Las Vegas. Obviously Wembley was big enough for me. Old Trafford was big enough for me. But now he was going to the place where Super Bowl was held, that is a crazy feeling.
I feel that all guys will really enjoy it. “
