Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he wanted to “make things” with President Donald Trump to secure lasting peace in Ukraine after the US leader Kiev.

Zelenskyy said on Tuesday that his conflict with the U.S. president was “regret” last week and called on a partial truce as the first step to secure the end of the Russian three-year war.

“Ukraine is ready to reach the negotiating table as soon as possible to be permanent peaceful. Nobody wants to be ready to work under the strong leadership of President Trump in order to get peace that lasts,” Zelensky is in the post on X.

He said Ukraine was ready to agree to “Headfield in the sky – prohibition of projectiles, long ranges, bombs on energy and other civilian infrastructure – and a truce in the sea immediately, if Russia would do the same.”

The statement came after Washington pauses Kyiv’s military help overnight, days after Zelensky’s talks in the White House encouraged the U.S. State Secretary to invite the Ukrainian leader to apologize.

“Our meeting in Washington, on Friday in the White House, did not go the way it should be. He is sorry that this happened in this way. It’s time to correct things”, “Zelensky posted on X.

“We really appreciate how much America has done to help Ukraine maintain their sovereignty and independence,” he said.

Trump proposed on Monday that the contract opening contract in Ukraine can still be agreed. The contract was supposed to be signed in Washington on Friday before Zelensky went after the office of oval office.

In the interview on Fox News on Monday, JD Vance vice President also called Zelensky to accept him.

“If you want real security guarantees, if you would like to actually ensure that Vladimir Putin does not reappear in Ukraine, the best security guarantee is that the Americans are on top of Ukraine,” Vance said.

Ukraine relied on American and European military assistance to keep greater and better armed enemies over three years of war that killed and injured hundreds of thousands of soldiers on both sides and flattened some Ukrainian cities.

Military experts say it could take time to feel the impact of the missing American help. When American assistance last year was held a few months in Congress, the most prominent initial impact was the lack of air defense for the shooting of Russian missiles and drones, although later Ukrainian forces complained about min.

“It is quite significant, but not almost as effective because it would be earlier in the war because Ukraine is far less dependent on direct US military aid,” Michael Kofman said in the Reutergin Lawyer.

Pause also puts more pressure on European allies who have a public hugged Zelensky is made of blowing the oval office, which was led by the United Kingdom and France whose leaders went around the White House last week.

Europeans are now running to increase their own army consumption and president of the European Commission in Ursulu Von Der Leyen in the EU, which she said to mobilize up to 800 billion euros). The EUR 80 billion also maintains an emergency assistant summit.

Reporting from London, Al Jaseere’s James Bays said that even if Europe can agree, it is unclear whether it can copy everything that now annoyed, including the notorgent and ammunition systems.

“Ukraine has made incredible progress on their drones, but rely on Starlink, a commercial satellite work leading Trump Ally Elon Musk,” he said.

“If the satellite operation stops providing the Internet, it will be a serious problem,” he added.

Kremlin, for his part, said that he cut military aid in Ukraine was the best possible step towards peace, although he was still waiting to confirm Trump’s move.

Military experts say Russia will also probably try to use stopping in stocks for expanding its territorial gains and strengthen their position in potential peace negotiations.

Russian State News Agency RIA News Quoted Andrei Matarov, a retired General, who chairs the Defense Committee in the Donji Doma Parliament, so that Ukraine exhaust its current ammunition reserves within a few months.

“We need to continue the pressure and continue to target their base and warehouses with long-term precision weapons for destroying stocks,” he said.
