Long Beach, California – Deflin defrancesco will not apologize for being passionate and Scott McLaughlin Would not apologize for thought he was wrong when the two contacted before the start Indycar Races a few weeks ago to Thermal.
Their argument after the race went viral.
Defrancesco did not want to take guilt without expressing his opinion to the driver of the Penne team.
It is ironic that two drivers are aimed at the Grand Prix Long Beach this weekend.
“I realized we would be close,” McLaughlin said. “I went yesterday and saw a 30 -car crew (from defrancessca). They assemble their pit (area). I said,” The boys, at least I know my neighbors, but at least I hope I do not shout and scream on Sunday. “
Defrancesco said his Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing Team works hard and struggling in them.
“It’s the heat of the moment, is it? And after a busy day and very disappointing after the pace, we had,” Defrancesco said. “This is my life. These guys, especially rll, … Let’s fight every weekend.
“So, I was passionate about that. Scott and I talked, we cleaned the air, we went and we look forward to the rest of the season, and this weekend on Long Beach.”
McLaughlin also wanted to go quickly.
“I don’t have to have a beef with Dev,” McLaughlin said. “I have no beef with anyone. But I won’t turn away from the fact that I thought it was a bone move, and that’s exactly the way.
“But sometimes people hate such (or) people that if you are ready.
Defrancesc’s Fire Behavior may have surprised some, but it didn’t surprise Graham RahalVeterans leader and team driver.
“I see it every day. That guy is a fiery little guy,” Rahal said. “Do not go wrong with the size (for him) the size of the heart. He is an energetic guy. I certainly see both sides and I told him that because he reached out to me.
“He didn’t have much space, that’s for sure. Obviously, he came a little hot, but the guys on the front were getting ready to leave, so everyone’s rear felt you have to go. You have to get to the package or miss the green flag.”
McLauhglin, a triple Australian champion in the super -at -the -hander, said it was good for the sport to see that emotion.
“That’s what I like with Indycar Racing or American Motorsports. You should not distract from showing your dissatisfaction and that is a good feeling,” McLaughlin said.
