Derby’s victory in Kentucky from the sovereignty in Churchill Downs has caused curiosity about whether COLT can upgrade its victory on a signature over the possible drought, a faster area on the Triple Crown track.
The question is now whether that test will come sooner or later.

The Hall of Fame Bill Mott coach did not sound like someone was preparing a sovereignty for a trip to Baltimore to run at 150 in Pimlico racing trail on May 17th. Predness Stakes, offering a cautious approach on Sunday.
“The great thing in the triple crown is that these are not able to many horses,” Mott said, referring to American PharoAh 2015 and justified in 2018. “I believe he is a big, strong horse and if you will ever watch and say, okay, if that is your goal and goal, but we will still be in the best interests of the owner.”
The immediate future for horses that ended immediately behind the sovereignty or completely skipped the derby remained muddy.
The double coach of the Bob Baffert Triple Crown returned to Churchill Downs after a four-year suspension with two entries, but scratched the Wood Memorial winner Rodriguez, pointing him toward Preakness. The famous Todd Pletcher Hall on Friday scratched her lone derby, Grande. There is also a big group of hopes that earned derby points during qualifications and could try out other stops of Triple Crown.
Preakness is the shortest racing at 1 3/16 miles, but its fast two -week turn from a 1/4 kilometer derby often gives the coaches and ownership groups. With Belmont Stakes set for June 8, five weeks after the derby and a separate three weeks from the preakness, many are considered by many to be a preferred option.
That last jewel of Triple Crown, which takes place on the Saratoga racing trail in New York, has the same distance as the derby for the second year in a row because of the trail shape instead of the traditional 1 1/2 miles.

The redemption could be in line with Derby’s journalism, which passed as a favorite 3-1. Coach Michael McCarthy was not available to talk to reporters on Sunday, but praised the effort of his Colt to briefly gather in leadership before sovereignty, 7-1 third choice, surpassed it in a section and won 1 1/2 length.
“He made a nice middle move, then opened the home turn,” McCarthy said after the race, “but I saw blue silk coming to us and I knew it was the one who would have to worry. He led the best he could and led a very good race. But the winner led a better race.”
The final gambit charged from the last to the end of the fourth among 19 horses, and coach Brad Cox said, “This gives us confidence to try the fast surface of dirt in the future.”
Representative of the Mott and Godolphin Llc Morning group Michael Banhan expressed his same faith in sovereignty because of his next step.
The latest derby champion briefly appeared in line for the media and spectators, and his executives felt good in relation to the initial state of the horse. They plan to look at him for the next few days before they make a decision on the immediate part of his bright future.
“We’re just working properly for a horse, what to do,” Banhan said. “He has a big year, hopefully he will continue down the path here. There are a lot of beautiful races that you would like to put on his resume. So, we just work correctly for him.”
