“I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for my father,” he said. “Damn coach-big guy, a great man.”
Mayweather also attributed his team to help him succeed he found as a businessman.
“I have a great team,” Maeser said. “I was not the only one who was smart; I chose smart people to be near me.”
