Formula 1 announced that all sports teams signed a commercial agreement of Concorde 2026.
Current Concorde Agreement – which is a three -sided agreement between teams, the management body of sports owned by FIA and F1, Liberty Media – expires at the end of the 2025 season, which begins on Sunday with the Australian Grand Prix.
Although FIA still has to complete the terms of management of the new agreement, Formula 1 confirmed on Sunday that all 11 teams, including the new entrance to 2026 Cadillac, agreed on a commercial framework for a new five -year contract, which will last until the end of 2030.
Formula 1 statement says: “Formula 1 can confirm that all teams have signed a concorde commercial agreement 2026, which provides the long -term economic power of sports.
“Formula 1 has never been in a stronger position and all stakeholders have seen positive benefits and significant growth.
“We thank all the teams for their engagement during this process to achieve the best outcome for sports.
“The Concorde Management Agreement in 2026 will be completed in due course.”
Fia said Sky Sports News On Sunday, part of the management body contract is “near the end”.
The new contract oversees the beginning of the cycle of new rules for F1, with changes and motor regulations and chassis that come for the start of next season.
The current Concorde Agreement allows for a maximum of 25 races to be in sports calendar, which is the current arrangement one of the shorts.
