The US judge ruled the Trump administration. Can be deported Mahmoud Khalil, a graduate of Columbia University, found his role in his pro-Palestinian protests last month.

Kalil, a legitimate American resident of the United States, was not charged with crime. In a letter written in the facility, he said, “Arrest is a direct result of speaking about Palestine’s rights.”

The government cited immigration laws of the Cold War and declared that the existence of the United States was disadvantageous for US foreign policy interests.

The ruling of the immigration court does not mean that Mr. Kalil will be removed immediately. The judge appealed to his lawyers by April 23.

The activists were held at the Louisiana Caving Center from March 8th.

30 years old, he was a prominent voice in the protest of Colombia’s University of War last year.

The Trump administration cited the law in 1952 and granted the government to order people who were exiled if the US could lead to undesirable results in US foreign policy.

The judge said the Trump administration could move forward with efforts to expel Kalil.

Unlike the silent Kalil, after the ruling, he spoke to the court.

Kalil said in the court, “I would like to cite this court that there is nothing more important than legitimate procedural rights and fundamental fairness.”

“What we witnessed today was no one of these principles in this process today,” he said. “This is why the Trump administration sent me to 1,000 miles away from my family.”

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) described this decision as “preliminary”.

The rights group said that the ruling did not include the letter of Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who made it clear that Mr. Kalil had committed a crime.

The government, especially Rubio, insisted that the efforts to expel Kalil were also to protect Jewish students from harassment and violence in the United States, even if “his activities” or “legal”.

Kalil also filed a federal court lawsuit against the arrest in New Jersey. His lawyers said that if the result of this incident wins, it can prevent deportation.

The Trump administration insisted that the student committed immigration fraud because he did not disclose certain information about the permanent residence application.

This includes working at the British Embassy in Beirut, Palestinian immigrants and refugee UN institutions. But the government did not submit new evidence.

The BBC contacted the White House and the Ministry of Justice and presented an opinion on the ruling on Friday.
