NASA astronauts, Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore, were left at the International Space Station (ISS) for nine months after the BOEING Starliner Capsule suffered.
On March 14, SPACEX launched a rocket that carried a new crew to ISS as part of a plan to bring the astronaut to the earth.
Suni and Butch will return to Earth two days after the new crew arrived, but the conditions of the earth can delay the return.
Aruna Iyengar of the BBC explains how astronauts have ended in ISS for nine months.
