Nine people died after the Russian drone hit a bus that transported workers in Ukraine, officials said.
This attack occurred on Wednesday morning in the South central city of Marhanets in the DNIPropetrovsk region by crossing the DNIeper River at the Russian Occupation Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant.
Serhiy Lysak, the governor of the region, added that at least 30 people were injured and “the number of victims is constantly increasing.”
The attack aimed to secure a ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia on Wednesday, and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Steve Witkoff no longer attended.
The image released by Lysak shows a bus with a hole with holes, hinges, and glass scattered on the floor.
The bus seems to be intentionally aimed. Russia did not mention this attack.
There was also a drone strike for two consecutive days in Kharkiv, the second largest city in Ukraine, on the east of the country.
Russian President Vladimir Putin declared a 30 -hour truce on Easter Sunday. Ukraine said it would reflect Russian actions. Each side blamed others for breaking the ceasefire.
Last month, Moscow launched a list of long conditions for a complete ceasefire agreed by the United States and Ukraine.
Separately from Russia, the United States talks with Ukrainian and European officials and brokes the ceasefire.
Senior officials from the UK, France, Germany, the United States and Ukraine are meeting in London, but the talks will not include the Foreign Minister.
Trump’s envoy Keith Kellogg attends Rubio and Witkoff, and British Foreign Minister David Lammy will hold a bilateral meeting with Ukraine.
Witkoff, a real estate giant and a special envoy to Donald Trump, has been a conduisan between the White House and the Kremlin for recent months.
He will return to Moscow for another meeting with Putin this week.
After the United States suggests that Crimia will be recognized as a Russian territory, it is suggested as a means to end the battles excluded by President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Crimia, an internationally recognized Ukraine, has been under Russian occupation since 2014.
Donald Trump recently said the US would not be able to broker the Russian-Ukrainian dialogue if the United States was very difficult to reach a peace contract.
Russia began full -scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022. Since then, hundreds of thousands of people have been killed or injured everywhere.
