Emmanuel Macron to warn Donald Trump against looking weak to Putin

French President Emmanuel Macron is scheduled to meet in Donald Trump in Washington at a later time, and is the first individual meeting between the spouses since the US President re -inserted the White House.

Macron said in a question and answer to social media that he would warn Trump against appearing weak to Russian President Vladimir Putin. This comes after the United States held direct talks with Russia for the first time since Russia has been widely invaded to Ukraine.

European proposals to achieve peace in Ukraine are also scheduled to be submitted after the American president accused him of “doing nothing” in this regard.

The meeting will be held on the third anniversary of the full invasion of Russia for Ukraine. The other European leaders in Kyiv were in support.

On Thursday, Macron told a social media audience that Trump also needs to think about how his interactions with Putin appear to other world leaders.

“It is not you, it’s not your brand, it is not in your interest. How can you be credible against China if you are weak in the face of Putin?” Macron said.

He added that he would seek to persuade Trump that the interests of the United States and Europe were aligned, and that “if Russia allows to take control of Ukraine, it will not be stopped.”

This means that any peace deal must be negotiated with the Ukrainians and Europeans around the table.

“Macron tries to touch on what could be more emotional than pure rational arguments,” said Mr. Milard.

He said that Trump wants to appear as a strong man who got a peace deal quickly, so Macron’s strategy “is to prove Trump how weak, will not be the strong man who wants to be.”

“If Putin is kindly treated, he will not respect China, Iran, or other enemies.”

On a wider scale, Macron’s visit is likely to be a part -time purchase of Europe and the task of finding facts, according to Mr. Milad.

“This is a last opportunity task because Europe requires things that hurry – they fear that this will be very quickly and badly,” said Mr. Millard.

He added that the international community was “confusing” through the “new Putin Trump axis”, and that “Macron wants to understand what NATO’s future is.”

“So that he does not surprise him in the next speech or the next tweet,” added Mr. Milard.

Macron’s office advisor said that the French president will also use the meeting to submit “proposals for action that reflects the rapprochement.”

This rapprochement refers to the transformation of Washington’s sudden policy in engaging Russia directly.

Within a month of restoring the White House, Trump had made Putin on the phone and sent a delegation of US representatives to meet Russian counterparts in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

These talks resulted in an agreement to appoint teams from both countries to start negotiating the end of the war.

Russia also said that it would not accept peacekeepers from NATO countries in Ukraine under any peace deal, which is the proposal of Ben’s raising a day before a meeting of European members in Paris, the arrangement of Macron in a hurry.

Macron’s meeting with Trump comes before the visit of UK Prime Minister Sir Kerr Starmer, which is scheduled for Thursday.
