Iraq said that the Iraqi and Syrian Islamic (IS) group leaders died with the US -led Allied forces by members of the Iraq National Intelligence Service.
According to Prime Minister Mohamed Siamed, Abdalah Makki Muslih Al-Rifa, also known as Abu Khadija, is considered one of the world’s most dangerous terrorists in Iraq and the world.
US President Donald Trump said, “He was constantly hunting by our bold combatants.”
US Central Command (Centcom) posted X on X on the video of a strike on X and said it was performed in AL Anbar province in West Iraq.
Abdallah Makki Muslih Al-Rifa was the head of the highest decision-making agency of IS and was in charge of the world’s operations, logistics and plans, the US Central Command said.
He also ordered a lot of global organizations, Centcom added.
Trump said about his truth social platform:
Abdallah Makki Muslih Al-Rifa was found dead with another person, Centcom said.
“Both terrorists had several weapons wearing a ‘suicide vest’ that didn’t explode,” he added.
The Centcom and Iraqi forces added that they escaped narrowly through the DNA game of DNA collected from previous air raids.
General Michael Erik Kurilla said: “Abu Khadijah is the most important thing in IS organizations around the world is the most important thing.
“We will continue to kill terrorists and dismantle our hometown, the United States, Allied forces and partner employees.”
The territory of 88,000 square kilometers (34,000 square meters), which once extended in northern Syria, northern Iraq, imposed brutal rules of almost 8 million people.
Iraq declared the defeat of IS in December 2017 and the group was kicked out of the last territory in 2019.
But armed forces and sleeping cells continue to exist in many areas and perform sporadic attacks on Iraqi troops and police.
