Ukrainian soldiers on the battlefield say they are not expected to end the war.

Moscow considers temporary ceasefire, but military machines continue to enjoy the front line. Diplomatic negotiations can be slow and difficult. But on the battlefield, it can be measured in a lost life.

Wounded people in the eastern Ukrainian military hospital arrive in the waves by ambulance. Here, there is a clear break between diplomacy and fighting diplomacy, bombs and bullets, still broken, crushed and wounded.

We watched 24 injured Ukrainian soldiers on the bus and took them to DNIPRO’s hospital. The bus is equipped with medical equipment to monitor the injured when driving the injured road quickly.

The men on board suffered less serious injuries. Most of them were fragmented. The cause is often the most weapon at the forefront.

We will end up soon, and we will end up soon. The 30 -year -old Maksym is on the stretcher with IV water droplets. He heard about a temporary 30 -day truce, but added. “Putin thinks murderers and murderers do not agree so easily.”

Ukrainian soldiers Maksym has some fragments and painkillers through water droplets.

VOVA sitting nearby says: “I do not believe it.” He said he is facing a Russian storm attack every day near the surrounding city forksk. “I doubt that there will be a ceasefire,” he said.

Another soldier named Maksym says this is the second time he was injured. “I don’t believe there will be a ceasefire,” he said. “There were many friends who are no longer with us.

“I want to believe everything is good. But you can’t believe Russia. Never.”

Large medical buses are operated by Ukrainian volunteer army medical battalions. They transport the scores of injured soldiers every day.

SOFIIA, a 22 -year -old medical student, has been working with the team for the last 18 months. She is also skeptical about the opportunity to truce. “I can’t believe it, but I hope that will happen.”

She first heard that the first time the United States and Ukraine agreed with the media about the ceasefire, Russian drones are flying over the base as they are involved in Ukraine’s aviation defense. For her, the story of peace comes from the parallel universe.

Sofiia says, “At least Ukraine and the United States should speak again.” But for the hope of all ceasefire, she points out the past recently.

“If you look at all the ceasefire calls we have in the past, it didn’t work. How does it work?” She asks.

Her fellow medical staff, Daniel, joined Sweden’s HOSPITALLERS. He says that a small country understands when he is attacked by a huge neighbor. His grandfather fought in Finland against Russia during World War II. History calculation.

When Daniel first arrived in Ukraine, he asked the injured soldiers what to do after the war. He no longer. “No one wants to answer that. They don’t want to be disappointed, so they don’t dare to hope.”

Daniel does not exclude the ceasefire. But he adds:

Ukraine has a lot of bitter experience in negotiations with Russia. France and Germany broked the armistice in 2014 and 2015 by the Russian support for the first time in Ukraine and Crimia. They did not work. They did not prevent Russia from carrying out Ukraine’s full invasion eight years later.

There may be a story about peace, but the 67th Brigade in Ukraine is still preparing for war. We are watching them practicing training to evacuate the soldiers who are fired. Most already had to do it for it.

In a distance, we can listen to the artillery rumble. Only 10 mms from the front will soon come back soon.

They have rarely heard positive news recently. The Ukrainian army is overlying in Kursk. In August last year, the amazing attack on the territory of Russian seemed to be the same movement of tactical radiance. Now there is a risk of being a major strategic frustration.

Kursk can no longer be a negotiation chip for negotiations, but because of the loss of Ukrainian equipment and life.

One of the positive positives is that the United States resumes military support. It is important for the 67th brigade that runs American production equipment. They are training with the US Maxxpro armored vehicle.

Ivan, a driver who wears a small American patch on the uniform, said he was relieved that the Trump administration had now agreed to flip the block. His vehicle requires regular repair. “I want them to continue,” he said.

But Ivan is still unclear whether President Trump can trust.

“I have doubt,” he said. Trusting Putin replies, “No.” Even temporary truce is a long way.
