US nuclear weapons in Poland would be ‘deterrent’ for Russia

“This defense tactic is an important response to Russian behavior and relocates nuclear weapons in the NATO region. Poland is ready to host this nuclear weapon.”

President DUDA also welcomed the French President Emmanuel Macron to expand the French nuclear weapons umbrella to other NATOs.

The United States already rotates about 10,000 troops at a time through Poland.

DUDA said that when the presence of nuclear weapons could make Poland more safer, it would deepen its promise to Polish security in the United States.

“All strategic infrastructure, the United States and NATO infrastructure in the soil are strengthening the tendency of the US and the North Atlantic alliance to defend this territory.”

Poland consumes almost 5%of national income. It is more than other NATO members including the United States.

Last week, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk warned in Congress that “profound changes in US geopolitical science” are being “objectively difficult” Poland and Ukraine.

Prime Minister TUSK demanded an additional increase in Polish defense expenditures and suggested that Poland should consider reaching “opportunities related to nuclear weapons.”

TUSK is on the left center, unlike President DUDA, who is on the right and thinks he is a friend of Donald Trump.

DUDA mentioned on Thursday that Putin’s rejection in Ukraine immediately agreed to agree on a 30 -day ceasefire, convinced that the US president had planned to encourage Russia to act reasonably.

DUDA will not admit that he did not criticize President Trump or questioned his actions and words for the US promise to Article 5, the mutual defense of the North Atlantic Treaty.

But he has much more severe words about Putin’s Russia than Donald Trump.

And he demands about 200 billion euros of Russian assets that the EU frozen in the European bank.

“Russian assets that collect and lock Russian assets from Western European banks should be used to support Ukraine and should be double -supported,” he said.

“First of all, Ukraine should be supported to defend themselves against Russia’s invasion. Second, this should be used to support Ukraine’s reconstruction.”
