Hegseth shared attack details in second Signal chat, reports say

US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth shared information about the US air raids on Yemen in the second personal group of the signal app, and the BBC’s US partner CBS confirmed the source familiar with the message.

The message sent on March 15 included the flight schedule of the American F/A-18 Hornets, which strikes on the HOUTHI goal. The group included HegSeth’s wife, brothers and personal lawyers.

This development occurs a month after a separate signal group to discuss sensitive information about US military operations.

In a statement on the New York Times, which first reported the second group, the White House said the White House was not shared.

HEGSETH’s wife Jennifer is a former Fox News producer and does not take a formal position within the Pentagon. HegSeth was previously accused of including his wife at a meeting with a foreign leader.
