Luigi Mangione was not guilty of allegedly allegedly for the deadly shooting of UnitedHealthcare in New York last year.
The age of 26, who was arrested in December and accused him of shooting Thompson outside the Manhattan hotel, is faced with murder and stalking charges.
His conviction will now face trials, and the prosecution demands an execution when he is convicted.
Mangione arrived at Manhattan Loar Court on Friday, dressed in prison, and arrived in his wrist. He read his prosecution before entering his defense and told the judge that “not guilty.”
Early Friday, the federal prosecutor filed a formal death penalty.
They insisted that Thomson’s murder “murdered” to amplify ideological messages “and caused resistance to the health insurance industry.
The US Attorney General, who ordered the prosecution, said in April that Thompson’s death was “an act of political violence.”
Mangione’s lawyers previously called him a “brutal” execution.
At a 35 -minute hearing on Friday, Judge Margaret Garnett tried to adjust the prior trial schedule, and Mangione’s lawyers continued to oppose his prosecution against New York’s federal and state charges.
The judge agreed that lawyers of Mangione agreed that they needed a few months to go through the prosecution’s “three terabytes”, including police video, social media data, financial and telephone companies’ data, and other evidence of the main prosecution.
This means that Mangione’s federal trial will not be held before 2026. The judge set up the next federal hearing on December 5, when the “firm trial date” was set.
During the hearing, Karen Friedman Agnifilo, a lawyer of Mangione, was forced to be tried in a federal court, claiming that the opposite would raise the Constitutional Problems before the state court.
She also accused Mangione’s recording with her in prison for “eavesdropping.” Judge Garnett asked the prosecution to write a letter that explains how Mangione can access a separate telephone line to make a privilege call with the lawyer team.
The judge also asked Friedman Agnifilo to submit a new consent to Friedman Agnifilo until June 27. Since the prosecution submitted its first consent before the prosecution announced that it would do so, the government requested that the government did not demand execution.
Judge Garnet also asked the prosecution to remind Bondi and the officials of the rules of public statements, fair trials, and jury selection.
Mangione is also faced with charges of Pennsylvania and New York, arrested in Pennsylvania. He was not guilty of murder and terrorism in New York for allegations in December.
Thompson was shot in Manhattan on December 4 at early December.
The suspect escaped the scene before leaving the city. Five days later, Mangione was arrested at McDonald’s Restaurant, Pennsylvania.
The public’s response to Thomson’s murder caused deep frustration with privatized medical care. Some are Mangione’s folk heroes, and his funds for legal defense were almost $ 1 million (750,000 pounds) with donations.
The supporters gathered outside the court on Friday.
Shell casing with the words “denial”, “defense” and “depose” was found in the crime scene. Critics say that these words are related to medical companies that avoid payments and increase profits.
