What does the UFL stand?

The United Football League (UFL) is a professional American spring football league created by connecting the now dishonest football league of the United States (USFL) and Xtreme Football League (XFL). The 2024 season was the Rebranded League inaugural campaign, which became the current hit with football and sports fans.

How many teams are there?

There are eight total teams in the UFL – four former USFL and four former XFL teams. (There was one overlapping market in 2024, and UFL decided to re -grab the USFL Houston franchise with the name of the XFL Houston team.)

The USFL conference consists of a champion defender Birmingham Pastuh,, Houston Roughnecks,, Memphis Showboats and Michigan Panthers. The XFL conference includes Arlington Renegades,, DC defenders,, San Antonio Brahmas and St. Louis Battlehawks.

When does the season start?

The action begins with UFL Kickoff on the weekends on Friday, March 28, and Battlehawks visited The Roughnecks. The Kickoff game will be the first of many games held on Friday this year, as the league adds football on Friday night to its 2025 campaign. All games in a new time place will broadcast on Fox.

The opening of the weekend continues with Brahmams facing Renegades on Saturday, March 29th. Then, on Sunday 30, the exhibition ships hosted Pantere, followed by stadiums that went on a journey to fight the veterans.

Who owns UFL?

UFL is owned by Fox Sports, Redbird Capital Partners, Dany Garcia and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Fox Sports owns half of the league, while the other half divides the other three. Garcia was previously co-owner and XFL chair.

How many weeks in the season?

The 2025 season will consist of a 10-week regular schedule, without any weeks, followed by a two-week postseason consisting of the title of XFL and USFL Conference and the UFL Championship matches in 2025 June 14.

All games will be broadcast on Fox, ABC and ESPN.
