If there is a team that has any flexibility that you might ever wish for, it is Minnesota Vikings. They addressed any holes on their list at the free agency, adding veterans and offensive and defensive lines.
Vikingi also exceeded all expectations of last season, and the striker Sam Darnold led the way to a 14 -win campaign and a post -season berth. They have a talented roster from top to bottom that helps one of the best trained tandems in the league in the main coach Kevin O’Connell and defense coordinator Brian Flores.
But just because Viking has no urgent needs, that doesn’t mean they don’t have a huge questionnaire. Minnesota will go on the way to return Jj McCarthy goes. She missed him throughout the Novak season for injury, which also pushed out his development in favor of rehabilitation. Now, with McCarthy that will start the season, Kevin O’Connell School will be on a full screen.
The best way to help McCarthy is to strengthen the rest of the list, which Vikingi can do in the draft, even with a limited number of selects.
Without further ADO, here’s a full mocking draft for Vikings.
I think Minnesota is a great candidate for a store to get more types, but the problem is finding a trade partner. The Vikingi sit under the steeler in the first round, which could make it difficult to execute a store with a team needed volleyball. How much is the first choice of Minnesota at the second club? That’s the biggest question here.
If the Viking are pop, they could use reinforcements along the rear level of defense. They are thin in secondary, especially with Harrison Smith To approach the end of his career. Safety and corner are probably their biggest needs today in the next few years. Starks is one of the best class safety and can turn this year as it develops for the future.
This is not a need now Christian Darrisaw And Brian O’neill as a booklet on the offensive line, but soon it could be a need. In addition, Darrisaw is injured, and it never hurts to have an insurance policy. In the worst case, Milum is a momentum. At best it can take over any video, playing both in college. His shorter weapons were also projected as a guardian at the NFL level, so Milum could basically be insurance wherever he needed Viking.
Minnesota spoke to the interior rotation along the defense line at the free agency, signing both Jonathan Allen and Javon HargraveBut both players are not spring chickens. The interior succeeds in rotation, especially with players who have position flexibility. This is a powerful class of defensive lines and it is completely possible to get a solid rotary player in the fifth round.
I led more draft simulation and every time, somehow, Shough was still available in this choice. Quarterbacks usually rises in the draft, even if it is only from 3rd to 2nd days, which I think could happen to Shough. But if Shough is there when Vikingi makes their last choice, it would not be a bad time to take a stab to the position. The only QB besides McCarthy on the Minnesote List is Brett Rypien. I am not quite sure that Vikingi is comfortable with Rypien the only and only spare copy, and the incomplete veteran capabilities are limited.
