Truisk Championship: Rory McIlroy Five Keith Mitchell leader after the second round in Philadelphia Crickket Club

Rory Mcilroy remained in a quarrel after two rounds at a truist championship.

Champion defender McIlroy ended the second day on seven under a couple, five shots behind Keith Mitchell.

McIlroy shot three under 67 on Friday and was part of a large group related to fourth place including Justin Thomas (67), Colin Morikawa (70) and Patrick Cantlay (68).

He had an uneven round of six birds and three Bogey as he played at his first individual tournament since he completed his Grand Slam career at Masters last month.

“We all have our challenges, and if it is my challenge to try to focus on the present and not think about making a dream a few weeks ago, then it’s a pretty good challenge,” McIlroy said after that.

McIlroy did not rush in his aggressive approach to playing the Wissahicon Club Philadelphia course. Northern Irce distance success came on greenery. He exhausted the roads of just under 10 feet in 12, close to 29 ft at 14, 17ft 4 in 15 and almost 28ft in 18. He ended up with 126.5 ft made.

McIlroy won three times this season – at Pebble Beach, players championship and Augusta National – and is a four -time champion of this event. He admitted that his game needed some fine adjustment while preparing for the PGA championship in PGA next week at Quail Hollow, a course in which he won four times.

“I felt like it was another kind of ticklish one today. I did what I think there were some atystical mistakes compared to the way I played most of the year,” he said.

“So, I just have to try to iron it over the next few days, try to record a few results without as many godfathers on the card.

“If I can and just edit it, I feel like I’m going to be in a good place next week.”

Mitchell followed the best in his career at the previous day at the age of 67 and held a lead with one shot over Shane Lowry.

Mitchell moved two five birds with five birds, including three -holes running from three to five, for a total of 12 under the sixth Signature event in the PGA Tour season.

The day after 64 of the 72 golfers on the Nezan terrain spoiled almost perfect weather and scoring conditions, the course softened the rain overnight, and the terrain was dealing with showers for both outside and outside.

Lowry was unwavering over time and published a five-point 65, the lowest circle of the day, and he was second at 11 below. Sepp Straka, 67, was another blow.

Lowry, which opened with 64, blocked four of his first eight holes. After 10th place, he bounced the bird from 53ft in the 11th and closed the circle with the second bird in 15th place.
