Todd Boehly says the owners of Chelsea could go separately if I cannot agree on the future of Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea chiefs are considering whether to leave Stamford Bridge or expand, and Earl’s Court was considered a possible new location.

All options are evaluated with a project that is said to be complicated by a limited space in London for construction.

In an interview with BloombergBoehly suggested plans for the remodeling of the Chelsea stadium could decide whether to stay in partnership with majority owners of Clearlake Capital.

“We have to think about what we are trying to achieve in the long run,” Boehly said.

“We have a great opportunity to develop a stadium that we have to throw out. It will be where we are either aligned or eventually decide to go in different ways.”

Clearlake Capital is considered to be completely bypassed Chelsea’s new stadium project and handed over to the club in the long run.

Rift between Chelsea co -owners appeared earlier this seasonon both sides that were said to have wanted to buy each other.

Asked if it was closer to the decision to sell his share in Chelsea, Boehly added: “I think the status quo is something okay. I think we got what we learned from each other.

“And, you know, I think we will really be able to handle it in any way.”

Boehly says the chelsea ownership group is ‘aligned’

Sky Sports News reported in September that Boehly was dissatisfied with the way the club is running and that he did not want Mauricio Pochettino to lose his job as a head coach at the end of last season.

But he insists that those who are in charge of Chelsea on the same page and pointed to the position of the team in the Premier League table as evidence of their plan that brings the fruit.

Chelsea is currently the fourth with nine games because they hope to provide the Champions League qualification for the first time in this ownership group, with the fifth sufficient to do so.

“If you look at the team evolution, we are aligned with what we are trying to do and what we are trying to build,” Boehly said.

“It’s a team that is young, it’s a team that has long contracts, and all these things were new.

“To do all the things we did, it is obvious because we are aligned. So, I think if you look at what is actually happening and do not follow great light, you will see that there is a core stability.

“Let’s get out on a plan that will ultimately have Chelsea where it belongs. I mean, we are currently sitting upstairs at the table.”
