The Texas State representative has introduced legislation that would modify the state ban for gender transition or treatment of minors to also relate to adults in Lone Star State.

The financial proposal would prohibit medical procedures “for the purpose of crossing a person’s biological sex” or “confirming the perception of a person’s sex” if the perception is not in line with the biological sex of a person.

Texas is one of at least 25 countries with laws that restrict or ban gender transition for transgender minors.
