Tadj Forlong was excluded from the Ireland’s opening match in the sixth Nations Championship against England due to injury.

The 32 -year -old Lindster player will be absent from the Saturday match at Aviva Stadium in Dublin after he was frequently injured in the hard leg during training in Portugal.

Forllong returned to Dublin for more evaluation.

The strong player was absent from all the four Ireland matches in November due to a problem with the knee strings and only for the Instos to beat La Rosheel three weeks ago before he was absent from defeating Bath.

Jacques Unger was called Konkcht as an alternative.
