Ireland appointed its team for its last match six nations against Italy in Rome on Saturday.

Tadhg Furlong, Mack Hansen and Garry Ringrose are returning to the setting, while monitoring the fitness of James Lowe and Ronan Kelleher.

Lowe was a late withdrawal from Saturday’s loss to France after sustaining his back injury in heating, but that injury has since demonstrated improvement.

The decision on their availability will be made later this week.

After suffered a heavy defeat of 42-27 last weekend, which broke their high hopes, Ireland will appoint their team for Italy’s match on Thursday.

Currently, they sit in third place in the six nation table, two points behind France leaders and one of England in the second entry into the final circuit of the fixture.

What follows in six countries?

Ireland ends its championship in Italy at Stadio Olimpico in Rome next Saturday, March 15th (2.15pm).

England ends its championship at 2025 in Wales at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff next Saturday, March 15 (at 16.45).

The host in France Scotland in their last championship game while playing the last test of three on Saturday, March 15th (start from 8pm).
