Singapore Classic: DP World Tour Event the first round was washed out of monsoon conditions

The first round of the Singaporean classic pushed back the day after the monsoon conditions deleted any game on Thursday.

The beginning was initially postponed until at least noon on Thursday at a local time due to the Course Conditions at the National Golf Resort Laguna and the weather forecast.

However, a statement about the World Tour of the DP later confirmed that the tournament would start on Friday, and thus the Times remained as originally published. The second round should take place on Saturday.

DP World Tour said he would continue to monitor the conditions in Singapore and the action of the live event Sky Sports Golf From Friday at 5am.

Singapore weather forecasts suggest that rain could be a problem in the next four days.

Robert Macintyre and Tom McKibbin, who moved to Liv Golf during the winter, among the leading names on the ground.

Previously called ‘Next Rory McIlroy’ after greeted from the same Holywood Golf Club as the four-time main champion, McKibbin secured a double membership on PGA Tour and the DP World Tour for the 2025 season.
