’11 under the worst result we could have ‘
For McIlroy and Lowry, there was a disappointment at the end of the day, but also optimism that they played well enough to get back to another alternative shooting on Sunday.
“It’s hard not to think (yes) we were six years to 12 years old, cruising and then a little bad ending,” said McIlroy, who played for the first time since the historical masters are triumph.
“But it didn’t feel like we were playing so bad to have the ending we did. A few loose shots here and there. It’s hard. (Saturday) will be difficult to be patient because Fourball format that you just have to try to make as many birds as possible.
“We know that we are really good in the Foursomes format, we have shown that today we are mostly, so if we can climb into a quarrel within a few guidelines on Sunday, we feel like we will be in a good position.”
Lowry added: “We are obviously disappointed. I feel 11 below the worst result we could be two days with our end yesterday and today.
“But I feel like we can go low (Saturday) and enter in the 1920s and come after that on Sunday. As we have shown today, Foursomes are our matter and we can do the field there.”
Further eagles like their own on 562 pair-five seconds would surely help this search.
After McIlroy left him perfectly in the middle of a navigable path from a teenager, Lowry hit a sensational approach to 242 yards in the back of green, before the new Masters Champion played again with his role again, sinking a 11 -foot Putt.
“I enjoy playing with about 340 (yards) to the middle of each waterway!” He hit Lowry by nodding the skill of his teammate from a teenager.
