Kuwait, Pakistan – Police said on Thursday that a man recently transferred his family to southwestern Pakistan from the United States shot his teenage daughter and killed him by honoring the so -called death after she refused to stop sharing videos on Tijook, which is believed to be inappropriate.
Babar Balush, the local police chief, said that the shooting occurred on Tuesday in Kuetta, the capital of Balochistan Province. He said that the 15 -year -old girl initially suggested that an unidentified gunman killed his daughter, but after his detention of his interrogation he confessed to the crime. The officers continue to investigate.
Blush said that the man’s son -in -law was also arrested regarding the death, adding that both men apparently objected to her participation in the “unwanted” content on Tiktok, a platform for social media used by 54 million people in Pakistan.
The so -called killing of honor is common in Pakistan, where family members and relatives sometimes kill a woman if she follows local traditions and culture or chooses to marry a man of her choice.
