South Korea National Service says that it is estimated the size of the deployment of Pyongjang to war in Ukraine.
The National Intelligence Service (NIS) said in the Juznokora Media statement that Pyongyang redirected troops in February in Russia’s Kursk in early February next month.
“There seems to be the implementation of additional troops, but their size is still examining,” NIS was quoted as the saying of the state newspaper funded by South Korea.
SEUL intelligence assessment follows the analysis last year that Pyongjang sent about 11,000 soldiers in Russia in the initial implementation in favor of Moscow Invasion.
Defense analysts suggested that North Korean troops would probably be easy goals for Ukrainian unmanned and artillery attacks due to the lack of combat experience and the inability to communicate with their Russian superiors.
Ukrainian field commanders also reported that Russian forces used northern Korean troops into attacking attacks and ordered them to take their lives, not trapped.
In January, NIS estimated that 300 soldiers of northern Korean soldiers were killed, and 2,700 others injured in the battle.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky estimated the number of northern Koreans killed or wounded to 4,000.
North Korean leader Kim Jong UN and Russian President Vladimir Putin have increased their military cooperation because he held rare sumtit back in the back in 2023. And last June.
In November, KIM officially ratified a mutual defense agreement with Russia who obliges two countries to provide immediate military assistance using a “all means” necessary if “aggression” are or faced.
