Vince Russo opened up about his relationship with Rock. Russo and Rocky’s history dates from the era of attitude when both men worked under Vince McMahon to overthrow the WCW rival.
During the recent episode Brodown on Sportskeeda WrestlebingeVince Russo asked if he was interested in working for WWE as an advisor if a rock gets complete control of the company and whether he had warmth with the final boss.
“There is absolutely no warmth. I had a good relationship with him. I mean, I always say that I would be interested in consulting. I would be. I am available if you want to choose a brain. I would never go back to that grinding in a million years.” (From 42:28 onwards)
Somewhere else on Podcasta, Russo claimed that Rock did not appear on Wrestlemania this year just to get back to all fans who robbed him of the opportunity to face The Roman government on Wrestlemania XL.
“Cody was supposed to take Za Fala from him (Roman Reigns), the head of the table. Cody would beat him for that, and rock wanted to take the belt. That’s why Cody said we would take everything from you. So that was a rock plan. That was the plan. And then they changed?
