Luka Doncic On Wednesday, it will be first stepped into the American Airlines Center Center, after being left to La Lakers on Wednesday in an agreement focused on Anthony Davis.
Doncic, who last played for Mavericks at Christmas 2024, was a significant acquisition for the Lakers, who sent Davis, Max Christie and the first round of 2029 in Dallas in exchange for the Slovenian star, Markieff Morris and Maxi Kleber. In his 26 matches with the Lakers, Doncic scored 27.1 points on average, 8.1 rebounds and 7.6 assists.
The game will be the second from the back for the Lakers, who lost to OKC Thunder on Tuesday. During that game, Doncic was thrown out in the fourth quarter after picking up two technical offenses. Referring to a return to Dallas, Doncic shared his emotional feelings for playing at Mavericks home -made field as an opponent.
“Of course, it will be a lot of emotions for me,” Doncic said (Per Ryan Ward). “I don’t even know what to expect. I don’t know how to feel, honestly. I know I’m looking forward to going back to Dallas, obviously. … It will surely be very emotional.”
This will be the second match between the two stores. The first meeting was February 25, where the Lakers beat 107-99, and Luka Doncic recorded 19 points, 15 rebounds, 12 assists, three stolen balls and two blocks.

Dallas Mavericks Coach Jason Kidd spoke about Luka Doncic’s return to American Airlines Center during training on Tuesday, encouraging fans to cheer up for his former star.
“I think it’s safe to say that you should cheer up,” Kidd said (by Mavs.com). “But for us there is an attempt to find a way to win.”
Kidd also acknowledged the emotional aspect of the return of Doncic.
“I think it’s emotionally when anyone is traded,” Kidd said.
“So, a return for the first time or even the second time or even the third path-not memory that they are able to reach the finals of the Western Conference or that they can reach the (NBA) finals or be all the stars-which has done in a short time is incredible.”
Play Lakers Vs. Mavericks will talk at 7:30 pm.
