Memphis Grizzlies Chief Coach Tuomas iisalo was impressed see see I Morant Return to end on Tuesday’s game against Warriors. The Morant clumsily landed when he stepped on his foot Buddy Hield and extinguished his ankle. It happened during the third quarter, but I came back to finish the match with my team before flying in the fourth with 3:44.
Speaking after the match, Iisalo mentioned that Morant’s return to the floor reminded him of the legend of Pistons Isiah Thomaswho did something similar against Magic Johnson’s Showtime Lakers during the 1988 finals. He said:
“Seeing him in this situation, in my opinion, that generation still remembers Isiah Thomas jumping on one ankle,” said Iisalo.

“It wasn’t exactly that. I hope it’s not that difficult. I have no information about it. It was inspiring, and I think the boys also raised to see that your leader puts it all in line.”
Unfortunately, Morant’s return to the floor was not enough to encourage his team to win. Grizzlies lost 116-121 and failed to contain Steph Curry and Jimmy Butlerwho combined to achieve 75 points.
Morant had a solid game, scoring 22 points, three assists and three rebounds. Desmond Bane was Memphis’s best player, and the night ended with 30 points, six rebounds and four assists.
“I Play”: I Morant on his availability for the upcoming Grezlies game
I morant was digging on the leg until the end of the game on Tuesday against Warriors. Now Memphis Grizzlies will face either Dallas Mavericks or Sacramento Kings, depending on who beat between the two on Wednesday.
Speaking after the match against Warriors, Morant gave a direct answer to the question of his availability for the next game, although he was not in the best of the state.
“I play,” Morant said. “That’s basically the answer I give. It’s no different.”
If I are a motor on the floor, Grizlies improves miles. Unfortunately, this was a difficult season for Morant, because there are only 50 appearances.
He also published his lowest point average from the 2021-22 season. He recorded 23.2 points, 7.3 assists and 4.1 rebounds per game this season. Memphis will need him in the best order if they hope he will win in Saturday’s game and make progress in the playoffs.
