Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon Return to the idea that Denver deliberately maneuvered his place on the ladder to avoid Minnesota Timberwolves – a team that kicked them out last season – and rejected the concept of manipulation of victories and losses to dictate the playoffs.
In an interview with CBS Wednesday divided into x (earlier Twitter) Tinsel Beat reporter Joel Rush, Gordona asked if Denver was deliberately avoided drawing Timberwolves in the 1st round. The Nuggets ended the season 50-32, locking the seed number 4-only one win better than 49-33 Timberwolves, which landed in no. 6.
Considering how many of the Western Conferences were in the battles of the Western Conference, the playoffs did not settled until the last day of the season, but Aaron Gordon was unwavering: the Nuggets did not run to anyone. “That was always so confusing to me,” Gordon said. “I’m not sure if it’s actually a NBA thing or it’s like a conspiracy … where people like trying to win and loss so they can love the jocker up and down, depending on the matches. I’m sure it is.

Kawhi Leonard put together a strong regular season, releasing average of 21.5 points, 5.9 rebounds and 3.1 assists during 37 games. He recorded 21.0 PPG, 4.7 RPG and 3.3 APG in his three matches against Denver.
The defensive task of slowing down Leonard will mostly fall to Aaron Gordon, who, according to Tony Jones from AthleticIt was built for the challenge.
“Expect to see the Ton of Aaron Gordon as Leonard’s primary defender,” Jones wrote. “Gordon is the only Denver player with length, athletics, discipline and strength to keep Leonard, and also deals with his ability to be cerebral with a shooting in the strap.”
A regular season between Denver and LA is divided by 2-2, but the Nuggets hold the advantage in the house that goes to the 1st round as West’s number 4 seeds.
