Sydney – New Zealand fired his top diplomat in London after he made a “deep disappointing” remark in the examination of President Trump, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, said on Thursday. High Commissioner in the UK Phil Goff questioned whether the US president “really understands history” during the panel discussion about Russian Invasion of Ukraine.

The comments were “deeply disappointing,” Winston Peters Minister’s External Minister, adding: “They do not represent the positions of the NZ government and make their position of the High Commissioner in London.”

Peters later said that he would release Goff if he made the same remarks about any other world leader.

“Seriously sad,” Peters told reporters.

Goff, former Foreign Minister, has compared recent peacekeeping efforts in Ukraine with a 1938 Contracting Agreement. Year – a pact between the European powers that the Nazi Germany has enabled the annex of the Czechoslovakian parts. The United States has a “paused” exchange of intelligence with Ukraine after the dramatic break in Kyiv and the White House.

Mr. Trump and Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy had the public that failed in the oval office last week, followed by the United States that suspenses key military assistance in Ukraine.
