Millie Bright signed an extension of the contract with Chelsea until the summer of 2026, with the possibility of an additional year.

The 31-year-old is a Chelsea female player with the longest service, recently surpassed a decade at the club.

England International Bright abolished all the honor that Blues won, including seven women’s Super League titles, five FA Cups, two league Cups and a Shield Community Shield.

Bright, which has 86 English caps, has played in all six matches of the famous Euro 2022 Lioneses’ success.

Bright said, “Representation of this club and continuing to travel a common trip has never been a question for me. This club is my home. Chelsea goes through me. The legacy continues.”

Women’s football chief Paul Green added: “Millie is the leader of the team and our player who serves the longest. This extension will take her to his 12th season at the club, which is a great achievement.

“Millie leads by example and beyond the field and was a key player in our success in the last decade. She recently became a player with the most wins of WSL, which is a turning point that reflects the quality she still shows.”
