Mikaela Mayer can ‘continue to talk’ but she will be silenced after our rematch from the world title, says Sandy Ryan

Sandy Ryan insists that she is happy about Mikaele Mayer to ‘continue to talk’ about their dispute in the coach, but plans to silence his American rival in their rematch.

Derby Boxer will try to regain the title of WBO to his second fight against Mayer in Las Vegas in the early hours of Sunday morning, live on Sky Sports.

Mayer responded angrily after her coach Kay Koroma switched to the attachments to work with Ryan, which meant that Mayer was recruited instead of the Kofia Jantuah into his corner team with Al Mitchell.

Ryan was full of red as she left the hotel just hours before her first fight against the world title against Mayer, which ended in September with the victory of a majority decision for an American in Madison Square Garden in New York.

“I think Sandy has a pretty weak mentality. I think she’s overcomes a lot, she emphasizes a lot,” Mayer said.

“The way she reacted to the color thing and captured the photoshop and all that, I can say that it easily flew. That is not good. At the end of the day, this sport is mental, so you have to have your head right.

“I didn’t really say anything that is not true. I just hit her with some facts and if she crashed, she knows why, because it’s true.”

Ryan has avenged his previous defeat by Erica Anabella Farias in Rovenian and is convinced that he will revenge on Mayer exactly.

“You can’t really say, but I don’t think she can do anything different than what she has already shown, while I can do something different,” Ryan said.

“It will be a different fight, but I don’t think it will bring anything new to the table.

“How will they fight to play the night? I’m becoming a world champion again.”
