American border patrol clients exchanged fire with suspects near the US -Mexican border on Monday, as the United States government continues to respond to criminal immigrants.
Fire exchange – which occurred exactly one week after President Donald Trump began intensifying border security on his first day in office – at about 2 pm local time near Fronton, Texas.
A group of illegal foreigners was trying to cross Rio Grande during the bullets, but it did not reach it. Neither the border patrol nor the suspected cartel members were not hit.
President Trump recently appointed Mexican drug gangs as foreign terrorist organizations.
The area where the exchange of fire was located near the island of Fronton, which is informally known as “Cartlal Island” due to criminal activity there. In an interview with Fox News Digital in 2023, Dawn Buckingham said that it declared the land as the Texas region – although it was not before – to grant law enforcement the right to patrols there.

“One of the things that the General Land Office is to determine the center of a waterway,” Buckingham said at that time. “All that is Rio Grande and the North, of course, Texas and the United States.”
“The land was not carefully announced because it was formed in the river. That is why we had to enter and officially announce the lands of Texas.”

“The application of immigration laws in our nation is very important to national security and public safety of the United States,” Trump said in an executive order last week. “The American people deserve a federal government that places its interests in the first place and the government that understands its sacred commitment to give priority to safety, security and financial and economic welfare of Americans.”
