Gillespie says Aaqib has been subordinating him and the former White Ball coach Gary Kirsten to catch a coaching for himself.
Gillespie’s comments were responded to the site of social media containing quotes from Aaqib A few days after the host Pakistan crashed from the ICC trophy without victory.
Aaqib told reporters on Tuesday that Pakistan changed 16 trainers and 26 selectors in about two years, and each side would fight in such circumstances.
“This is funny,” Australian Gillespie said on social media.
“Aaqib obviously bred Gary and I behind the campaign scene to be a coach in all formats.
“He’s a clown.”

Gillespie, who also signed a two-year contract with Pakistani wheels for cricket (PCB) in April, ceeded as a red ball coach in December in the midst of media reports in relation to the Committee. He was replaced by Aaqib.
In October, Kirsten resigned as a white ball coach, barely six months after the job was taken, and Gillespie was filling for South African African during Australia.
