The paramilitary forces for fast support (RSF) have imposed a siege for about a year, but they managed to prevent invasion thanks to the joint forces – a number of local armed factions.
Exampled civilians are now pleading to help, but some fear of the Army is neither political will nor the ability to save civilians, experts, local journalists and civilians.
Almost 500,000 civilians in the Zamzam camp – the largest refugee camp in the north Darfur – already suffering from hunger, according to the United Nations Global Hungry Monitor, integrated phase food classification (IPC).
The inhabitants in Hjemama told Al Jazeer that the military had dropped something to help food from their war foods earlier this week, but they said stocking would run out in a few days.
“All Sudan military and security agencies should move towards (North Darfur) to ensure the flow of food, medicine and humanitarian necessities for surrounded civilians,” Mohamed Khamis added, a spokesman for Zaman.
“There must be immediate intervention (humanitarian organizations),” he added.
Leaving Darfur?
Most people in the camp, and in El-Fasher are from seated agricultural communities, known as “non-Arabs”, while most of the fighters attack them from nomadic or pastoralist “Arabic” tribes from.
From 20. April, RSF fights the Sudan Army in the catastrophic civil war that encouraged the worst humanitarian crisis in the world at most measures.
RSF Quickly captured four of five states Darfur – South, east, west and central Darfur – 2023. years. North Darfur was a Holdout.
The UN accuses both sides of the crime, but says RSF systematically raped women and girls and “missing” thousand civilians.
Many of these crimes were committed in Darfur, in the RSF stronghold of almost the size of France.
In April, 2024. was surrounded by the capital of northern Darfur, after many local armed factions – a part of the common forces, despite the formation of the early 2000s in the rebellion of the marginalization of its tribes in the central government.
From The military captured the capital, KhartoumIn March, experts and civilians from Darfur were concerned that he would again neglect the priority to his control over central and northern Sudan.
“I am not sure that the military has political will and resources to continue to fight (in Darfur),” said Jawhara Kana, an independent expert in Sudan Sudan.

The canoe added that in the past two years there was a growing number of personalities with large ones that encourage hatred on social media against civilians in Darfur, accusing everything from the RSF crime region.
“They believe RSF is from Darfur, so we just let Darfur,” said Al Jazeera.
“I am afraid that public opinion (in North and Central Sudan) could affect the decision of the army and allied forces (the fight for Darfur).”
Indelective warfare
24. The military shot four rockets on the crowded market in the village of Tora northern Darfur at the sunset, when hundreds of people gathered to break during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
Local monitors estimate that at least 350 people were killed.
“There were so many civilians who were killed and injured. There were so many women and children,” said Adam Royal, spokesman of displaced people in Darfur. “There was absolutely no justification.”
Al Jazeera sent a written inquiry with a spokesman soldier, Nabil Abdallah, asking why the army hit the full market during IFTAR. Did not respond to the time of the post.
The source that monitors the situation in Darfur, who asked to remain anonymous to protect colleagues from reprisals, said al Jazeera army air attacks are the only ones distracting against RSF.
Despite the attack on Torre, most civilians in northern Darfur fear in RSF invasion more than military air attacks.
Believe the group will commit mass murders and rape and rob all cities – As he did this through Sudan – If he wins an el-offer and surrounding villages.
However, the source warned, the army would not be able to strike RSF accurately if the group does not infiltrate densely populated space in North Darfur, like El-Fasher and Zamzam.
“I think that strike (in Torr) indicated that even if the RSF entered the El-Fasher, the military will not hold on. And what does it have to have an idea,” said it already had an idea, “Al Jazeer said.
An agreement on surrender?
Local monitors say RSF has strengthened abuses over the northern Darfur for the last week.
1. April The Group killed at least seven people in shelling at Abu Shouk camp, where about 190,000 people live.
Ten days earlier, the city of Al-Malhe, north of El-Offer, allegedly killing at least 40 people, destroying homes and rob and burn the market, exacerbating hunger in the area.

The recording of Al-Malha, located next to Libya, gives RSF another vital supply, because near the El-Fasher, local Al Jazeere monitors said.
On the other hand, they say, common forces can’t get new weapons or recruit new fighters due to the siege.
On Sunday, the leader of the joint forces, Mine Minawi called on “Dialogue” during the EIDA al-Fitra, who seems to be contrary to the Army Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, who promised that the army would fight after filming the map.
Minawijevi’s words encouraged speculations to make common forces search for a job with RSF for avoiding bloodshed, experts and local monitors for Al Jazeer.
However, civilians in the area fear that any job would result in ethnic cleansing of non-Arab, said Mohamed Zakaria, a journalist in El-Fasher.
“Joint forces are the sons of people living in this area. It is really hard to imagine them to surrender to RSF, because then RSF could kill everything (non-Arabs) who remained here,” he said.
“(Unaphanish) Look at the North Darfur as their country; it is impossible to leave.
“They will live or die here,” he added.
