Luke Littler, Michael Van Gerwen and Gerwyn Price are among the players involved in the German Grand Prix during the Easter weekend, while the fourth European tour event is held in 2025.
As a story, Van Gerwen and the ruling world champion Littler are among 16 seeds, they will enter the second round stage on Easter Sunday, after the tournament starts on Saturday with 16 games.
The World No 1 Luke Humphries won at the Munich event in 2024, in the finals, breaking through Van Gerwen 8-1 to ask for the second time in three years, but this time he decided, along with Nathan Aspinall and Dimitri Van Den Bell.
The tournament ends on Easter Monday with a third round, quarterfinals, semifinals and finals.
As the first two seeds, Littler and Van Gerwen could meet in the finals, less than a week before they Squares in the quarterfinals at night 12 from Darts Premier League in Liverpoolto live on Sky Sports.
The German Grand Prix is played in the leg format with each circle to and including the quarterfinals the best of 11 in front of the half of the top 13 and the Best-O-15 finals.
There is a total pot of £ 175,000 and the winner earned £ 30,000.
So far on a European tour this season, Littler has maintained Belgian Darts Open, Aspinall has won the Darts European trophy, and Stephen Bunting has entered the international darts.
