Gary Anderson wins player championship 7 after nine Darter for Ryan Searle, Dirk Van Duijvenbode and William O’Connor

Three players hit nine-dirt, and Michael Van Gerwen was eliminated in the first round before Gary Anderson won the title of 30 championship players at an event in Germany.

Ryan Searle, Dirk Van Duijvenbode and William O’Connor were men who recorded perfect legs in Hildesheim, but Anderson triumphed at players 7, beating Adam Lipscombe 8-3 in the finals after winning seven of the last eight legs.

Van Gerwen – the only Premier League player in action with Luke Littler, Luke Humphory, Gerwyn Price, Nathan Aspinall, Stephen Bunting, Chris Dobey and Rob Cross Sitting – lost 6-3 of Niko Springer in the last 128.

Anderson ‘over the moon’ by winning

Speaking PDC TV After his victory, Anderson said, “It has been hard for me in the last few months.

“I started Iffy today, but I picked up during the day, so I’m over the moon. I’ve been fighting since December, so it’s nice to get one.

“I enjoy playing darts. Sometimes it doesn’t play with balls and that’s what I have to handle.”

Anderson-Koji lost in the second round at the 2025 World Cup in Darts 2025. Monday in the quarterfinals scored Krzysztof the Ratanj 6-5, and then saw in the semifinals that the World Grand Prix champion, Mike de Decker 7-3, ruled.

Lipscombe, meanwhile, defeated O’Connor 6-4 in the neighborhoods, then overcome Van Duijvenbode 7-4 in the last four, as he approached the title in his eighth event since he first secured a tour in January.

Anderson told Lipscombe, who also beat Damon Heta on the way to the finals: “The Adam playing Fair. I expect him to go well and put a hole in the ladder.”

Player 8 championship will be held at the same place on Wednesday before switching to Leicester for events 9 and 10, March 31, or April 1st.
