Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Trump met last month in Washington and discussed Facilitation of tariffs, solving trade issues and performing defense connections.
Gabard also met the Minister of Mody and Defense Rhinth Singh on Monday.
Singh, in post on social platform X, said that they “discussed a wide range of issues involving the defense and exchange of information, aimed at further deepening Indian-American partnership.”
India is a key strategic partner of the US and is considered an integral for the Washington Strategy to contain China in the Indo-Pacific region.
