Manoj Kumar, a veteran Boliwood actor and director, died at the age of 87 in Mumbai, an Indian financial capital.
The actor died of “age -related health problems,” and Dr. Santosh Shetty at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital said that the actor was recognized.
His son, KUNAL GOSWAMI, said Kumar has long fighting health problems in ANI News Agency.
Kumar gained a reputation in the 1960s and 1970s with a rich legacy of patriotic films.
Originally named Harikrishan Goswami, Kumar was born in 1937 in Northern Fun Zab.
He pioneered niche in the Hindi film industry with films such as Shaheed, Roti Kapada Aur Makaan and Kranti. His film, famous for his patriotic enthusiasm, played chords with the Indian masses.
Kumar has won numerous awards for many years, including Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian merchant in India.
His contribution was awarded to him the highest movie theater in India, the Dadasaheb Phalke Award.
The tribute poured into social media and mourned his death.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi called him an “icon of Indian films.”
“Manoj Ji’s term in Hindi will burn the spirit of state pride and continue to inspire generations,” he wrote in X.
