Faulty antenna played role in fatal Australian helicopter crash

Transportation safety officials said that the Australian theme park and resort contributed to the fatal intermediate air helicopter crash.

The aircraft preparing for takeoffs had a defective antenna.

When a conflict occurred, the Helicopter’s call was not accepted or heard from the pilot on the ground that loaded the passengers at the time.

However, after the passenger boarded, the crew advised the helicopter pilot that the aircraft pilot was clear. But the information was no longer accurate until the helicopter took off.
