Authorities said at least one death died on Thursday that the helicopter crashed into the Hudson River in the New York.
The New York Police Bureau was dragged from the water at least two people, but told the BBC’s US partner CBS News. It is not clear whether the dead were reported as one of the two people pulled from the river.
Marine and land troops are at the scene of the accident, but it’s not clear how many people have boarded.
Video circulating to social media shows the fragments that float in the river.

15:15 EDT (20:15 GMT) The collisions in the around were close to the New Jersey of the Hudson River.
The site of the accident appears to be near Pier 40 in New York City.
Boat traffic and street traffic in this area have been suspended.
The BBC reporter, who was at the top of the World Trade Center at the time of the accident, said there were about 12 boats surrounding the crash.
The tourists at the top of the building added that they gathered on one side of the tower and looked down at the crash.
