Roof collapse at Dominican Republic nightclub kills at least 13

At least 15 people died after the roof collapsed in the Night Club of the Dominican Republic.

More injuries, and rescue workers are still attempting to free people in debris.

It is not yet clear that the popular Merangue Singer Rubby Pérez, a popular Tuesday, is a concert at Santo Domingo, the capital of Santo Domingo.

Luis Abinader, the president of the Dominican Republic, expressed mourning to the affected family.

Emergency Operations Center (coe) director of Juan Manuel Méndez said that rescue workers are still looking for people under debris.

He added that he had traveled to an ambulance in a regional hospital, and sometimes had more than one patient. Officials are still trying to determine the injured total.

The preliminary guns of the dead are 15.

Méndez said that many people buried under the collapsed roofs are still alive.

The jet set is a popular nightclub in the capital and regularly holds a dance music concert on Monday evening.

The video scene taken inside the club shows the music dance on the back while the people sitting at the table in front of the stage and Ruby Perez sing.

In a separate cell phone recording shared on social media, a man standing next to the stage says “falls from the ceiling,” while his fingers can see the roof.

In the video, singer Ruby Perez seems to be looking at the area that the man pointed out.

Less than 30 seconds, the noise was heard, the recording turned black, and the woman shouted, “Dad, what happened?”

One of the band members of Rubby Pérez said that the club was full when the local media collapsed.

“I thought it was an earthquake,” the musician said.
