Chairman évariste NDAYISHIMIYE has commented in an exclusive interview with the BBC.

Burundi’s évariste NDAYISHIMIYEE saw “trusted information” that Rwanda plans to attack his country in the BBC, and Rwanda said in a 10 -year -old Congo Democratic Republic of Congo Democratic Republic.

Rwanda has already called the president’s opinion “amazingly” and insisted that the two neighbors are working on a security plan on the joint border. It has been closed for over a year.

Despite the extensive UN evidence Rwanda has always refused to arm and sponsor the M23 rebel group, and recently confiscated a lot of Eastern DR CONGO with Rwanda army.

Rwanda also refused to link with RED Tabara Rebel Group, which President NDAYISHIMIYE is a representative of the M23 and that Rwanda is supporting to unstable Burundi.

“When they are Rwanda, they will say that it is an internal problem. [who is] problem. We know he [Rwanda’s President Paul Kagame] NDAYISHIMIYE plans to attack Burundi. ”Burundian people are fighters.”

“But now we don’t plan to attack Rwanda. I want to solve the problem with dialogue.”

NDAYISHIMIYE’s opinion was completely fulfilled the demand for peace and agreement between the two countries. It has been signed for the last few years, but according to Burundi, Rwanda has not been honored.

“People who have been coup in 2015 [were] Rwanda was organized and ran away. Rwanda organized them -it went to recruit youth at the Mahama Camp. It trained them, gave them weapons, and raised funds. “They live in Rwanda’s hands,” he insisted.

“If Rwanda passes them over and takes them to justice, the problem will be over.”

NDAYISHIMIYE said, “We are asking our neighbors to respect a peace agreement.” We do not have to go to war. We want a conversation, but if you are attacked, you won’t be idle. “

“We have nothing to ask [of] Rwanda [in return]But they reject because they have a bad plan. They wanted to do what they were doing at the DRC. “

Rwanda-Burundi border remains for a long time after Red Tabara Rebels has been attacked several times on Burundi’s soil.

Rwanda’s situation is important, but it’s not the only problem of Burundi.

To the west, the continuous conflict of Dr. Congo, who is rich in mineral, has reached a boiling point that competes to control the country’s valuable resources with rebel groups, militias and foreign political parties.

NDAYISHIMIYE told the BBC, “External forces are responsible for sustainable conflicts, and they do not want DRC’s peace because they want to continue to plunder resources.

“The crisis of DRC is not about people, but about minerals.”

He insisted that the solution was to bring all the parties to the table, including “all opposition parties and armed groups.”

But in his view, Rwanda will be willing to show.

“The problem between Rwanda and DRC is a small problem and can solve it without killing people. For example, Rwanda is going there. [to DRC] Because of FDLR [a Rwandan rebel group accused of links to the 1994 genocide].

“But who [is being] killing? What I see is Congo. Why do you kill Congo when they say they are looking for FDLR? “

The M23 rebels and Rwanda troops have been forced to escape hundreds of thousands of Congo in violence and home since their war began to occupy the city in Dr. Congo in January.

They have to find desperate safety and some must cross the swum to cross the Rusizi river from the temporary vessel to arrive in Burundi. Despite the dangerous trip to kill many people, including a 3 -year -old child.

Congo refugees cross the Lugeji River across Burundi to risk their lives.

While living in a refugee camp in danger, some want to go back to their country, but complain that the Burundi -DR Congo border has been closed. This is what President Burundi rejects.

“No, the border with Congo has not been closed. Where did you come to Burundi? They can be used today. [the Rusizi river] To go back. “

The BBC’s crossing the Rusizi river has made refugees in danger, NDAYISHIMIYE replied: “We did not invite them.

“They will be able to go back, we will not reject them, but when they are here, they are our visitors. When visitors come to your house -the person who chooses to stay. Even the food they have when we share meat, we can’t say that we will eat meat when we eat meat.”

NDAYISHIMIYE says that after the war, Congo’s task of international forces should be expanded to participate in the rebels in order for Congo to achieve continuous works. He also said he would not be withdrawn from Dr. Congo until Burundi was confident that the border was safe.

Earlier this month, South African leaders announced theirs Power will be withdrawn from Dr. Congo. After more than 19 deaths that helped them fight the M23.
