The disturbances occurred in the Swedish embassy in Baghdad twice, while the Swedish ambassador was expelled from the city in a diplomatic rank.

The Swedish government gave Mr. Momica permission to the protest in which the Bible burned, He said that it was according to the laws of freedom of expression.
