Conor Benn vowed to withdraw Chris Eubank Jr and says that “personal reasons” are at the center of the couple’s quarrel on the eve of his match at Tottenham Hotspur.
Benn and Eubank JR will meet three decades from the rematch between their famous fathers this Saturday, Live on Sky Sports Box Office, In the collision of iconic family heritage, the war insults developed in relentless controversy and bad blood.
The outraged rivals were originally to fight in October 2022 only to cancel the fight when Benn failed two voluntary drug tests.
Benn spent the next two years fighting that he had his own Business raisedWhile Eubank JR persistently used the incident to object to the opponent during a long -term accumulation.
“We are focused on the future. We are focused on completing what we started,” Benn said Sky Sports. “I hate what he is advocating for. I hate who is like a man, what chases.
“Only he as a man personally for reasons who are not public, personal reasons, between me and Chris, who is fully aware of why I really don’t love him.
“The fight is a struggle. Obviously there is an interest in the history of our father, and we are the sons of our fathers, the apple does not fall far from the tree.
“But I think there is a great conflict between personality, controversy, trouble, it is sold. It does not change the outcome of April 26 and what will I do to him.”
Despite Benn’s suspension, the easily tiny fight against EUBANK JR always felt probably if it was even when it was cleaned to return.
But with both fighters on the verge of challenges for world titles, Benn has questioned the motivation of EUBANK JR to launch this career and plans to send his opponent to retirement.
“It was a fight that never disappeared,” Benn continued. “Obviously, I had a WBC world title for me to take over (Mario) Barrios, which is still a plan after I throw Eubank.
“But it was a struggle that seemed never to disappear. It was a fight that the public demanded and commercially made a lot more sense.
“When he loses, he has to withdraw. I do not understand why at this stage of his career he would decide to fight the veluteries over the world title. I can lower and go and get their world title.
“But for me, he chases one thing and that’s the difference between me and him.”
Benn is the perfect 23-0 as a professional who extended his record with a unanimous victory in Peter Dobson in February 2024.
The 28-year-old admits that the time will come when he loses his first fight. He doesn’t plan to be on Saturday.
“I haven’t lost. I’m undefeated. He won’t be my first loss. That man I refuse to lose,” Benn said.
“I’ll lose struggle, that meant. My style is fun, but there is a level of vulnerability where we still work. But not him. Not to him.
“The thought of losing to him, the fear of losing him is what pulls me out of bed at five in the morning.”
