Utah Fired Craig Smith coach on Monday, the day after a 76-72 loss on UCF Utes dropped to 15-12 in season and 7-9 in Great 12 play.

Smith, 52, was in charge of Utes in his fourth season and held a 65-62 record of all time with the program. It will be temporarily replaced by Assistant Coach Josh Eilert while the school is looking for a replacement.
