A court of Georgia sentenced him to an additional imprisonment to former President Miki Ilsakashi Billy in prison.
Saakashvili was sentenced to four and a half years from the bar illegally crossed the border when he returned to the country in his exile in 2021, his lawyer said.
He is already in the office and provides simultaneous terms for embezzlement and abuse of power, and has been sentenced to more than 12 years.
Saakashvili always denied the mistake and called his latest sentence “illegal” and “unfair.” The rights group says his imprisonment has been politically motivated.
Saakashvili opposes the Georgia Dream Party, which prefers close ties with Russia. As president, he tried to form a close relationship with the Western government.
Saakashvili said in a video posted in the hospital on Monday, “Anything, I will fight to the end.”
The former president was sentenced last week for nine years for embezzlement and ran with prison. In 2018 he was trial in absence and sentenced to two separate trials.
Saakashvili was arrested in 2021 after being smuggled as a country in a ferry in Ukraine, and was surprised to be a surprise to Georgia before the national election.
He demanded a massive anti -government protest, but was quickly arrested by Georgia authorities.
He was 57 years old and led Georgia to two categories between 2004 and 2013, most of which he lived in Ukraine since he left the country.
He received Ukrainian citizenship in 2015 and gave up Georgian citizenship when he became president of the Ukraine Odessa.
His citizenship was canceled in 2017 before he was restored by President VolodyMyr Zelensky in 2017.
“this [sentence] Saakashvili is basically sending a message to President Zelen Ski. I was scared to scare President Zelen Ski. I didn’t give up Georgia when I didn’t give up Georgia.
Zelensky, who appointed Saakashvili to supervise Ukraine’s reform, demanded a transfer to KYIV.
He previously accused Russia’s killing “Sakashi Billy” in the hands of the Georgian authorities.
The European Union repeatedly demanded that it would be released immediately in Saakashvili prison. Express concerns about his health worsening.
Amnesty International called his treatment as “obvious political revenge.”
