Four major federal party leaders in Canada were baked in their response to US President Donald Trump and collided with energy and housing in their first television debate on the campaign.

France’s confrontation recorded a key moment in the election. Leaders gave voters a chance to depress in Quebec, which is rich in seats.

It also has some leads in the poll, but the French was a great test for the weakest liberal leader Mark Kani among federal leaders. He sometimes struggled to express his point on stage.

There is a second debate in English on Thursday before Canadians vote on April 28.

There were four major party candidates on the stage: Liberalist leaders and current Carnival, conservative Pierre Poilievre, Bloc Québécois Leader Yves-François Blancchet, New Democratic Party (NDP), Jagmeet Singh.

This discussion was alleviated by a radio Canadian journalist Patrice Roy.

Prime Minister Roy opened a forum that was “kidnapped by Trump” for a short 36 -day federal election in Canada, and asked each leader to explain two campaigns that were not related to the United States or tariffs.

Shortly afterwards, however, Roy began to ask about how each party would handle the trade war with the United States.

Trump has a Blanket 25% tariff on Canadian products and is exempted from the product dealt with by USMCA, a North American free trade transaction. Canada also faces the world’s US tariffs on steel and aluminum and cars.

The president also publicly thought Canada became the 51st US state.

The opposition conservative poiliefRe has accused liberals who will weaken the state over the past decade, making Canada more vulnerable to economic threats.

Carney has promoted his experience as a former central banker in Canada and the United Kingdom and in the private sector.

“[Trump] Carney respects people who understand the world and how the private sector works.

The Singh of left -wing NDP wanted to paint poiliefre and carney with wrong choices for Canadians who could be affected by US tariffs.

“Both will cut taxes on millions of blades and billionaire,” he said.

For Carney, the French discussion was probably the first main test of the campaign trail.

The second debate will be speaking in English on Thursday night.

This forum is more widely seen nationwide, but on Wednesday, the steak was high on Wednesday for the Carney Liberal Party, and it continues in Quebec, where the majority of Canadians who speak French live.

His France was the weakest person on the stage, and he often kept his answers briefly, and sometimes had difficulty gaining his points in the form of discussions with quick exchange opportunities.

He also faced the most frequent attacks, trying to tie him up to the liberal records of former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, which other leaders resigned last month.

“We are still talking about the same party and the same cocus,” Block’s Blancch said.

He added: “It’s not because you change the leader who changes philosophy.”

Carney argued that he had been achieved even though he sweared as a PM last month. “I just arrived,” he said.

There was a moment when Mr. Roy asked leaders if they were purchasing a smaller American product, like many Canadians, like many Canadians.

Carney admitted in an interview earlier this month that he did not do his food when he asked if he bought a strawberry.

Singh and Blancchet both said they bought Canadian fruit. Carney said PoilIvre is buying Canadian beef.

Trump was not the only problem with the agenda. Leaders have asked for plans to solve the Canadian housing crisis and how to balance the climate and economy.

In the house, PoilIvre has sweared to cut taxes and red tapes.

The conservative leader said in a JAB toward Carney, “We do not need more bureaucracy and need more front door.”

But the two found in common with energy, and said that this country should strengthen its petroleum and gas production.

Kani added that the climate remains as a priority of his party and will focus on producing “low risk” and “low carbon” oil.

According to immigration, Canada had a wide range of agreements to examine the ability to integrate new immigrants and asylum applicants.

Canada has seen a quick population boom in recent years and has struggled to catch social and housing infrastructure.

Canadian border officials have recently risen of asylum applicants who want to cross the Quebec -US border as a result of the Trump administration’s solid immigration policy.

It was a green party that was absent from the discussion stage. In the last minute decision of the debate committee, it was disqualified for failing to meet the standard by not supporting more than 90% of the Canadian federal candidates.

When the election was called, the party with two MPs in Congress did not meet at least 4%of critical prices in national support.

Jonathan Pedneault, a co -leader of the Green Party, called the committee’s decision as “no basis” and “unhimcical”.

It was not the only change in the debate.

On Tuesday, the start time was officially moved forward for two hours to accommodate the NHL game between the Montreal Canadian and the Carolina Hurricane and settled in Stanley in Stanley Cup playoffs.
